I like to think of myself as an even tempered and organized person. As an immigrant child of blue collar workers who moved us every year, I hoped that one day I would grow up and live in a house with a yard, a garden I could tend year after year, 2.5 children, and a husband who came home with flowers at 5 p.m. to be greeted by me holding his martini.
