What is your name? (First name is good; nick name is fine.): Kathy

What city do you live in?: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Describe your family: (How many kiddos? Do you have pets? What is your family "into?" Baseball, camping, music?): I am a mother of two grown girls, grandmother of five and raising one of my grandchildren. We have two cats and three dogs. We own our own Security Company and one of the dogs is a working dog, one is now retired from the job, and the other is still a pup. I also sell Avon and babysit full time. We love anything outdoors and as you can tell an animal activist. Always taking in strays. One of my goals is to combine security and daycare together to make a safer place to bring your children. I have been married for one year. As of August 5, 2008 we now have permanent guardianship of Ariyah.

Your most precious "mom" moment:: I exercise on an ablounge and sometimes count quietly outloud. Almost like a whisper. My granddaugter would watch me do this all the time. One day she said Nana I have to cise and she climbed up and did her best to make it work for her then she started counting...1-13-5-10 in a whisper like I do.

As a mother, the thing you struggle with most:: As a mother and now as my grandbaby says it a mana the financial struggles is one of the hardest parts. I believe though, hands down, is enforcing the supervised visitations with my daughter. Having to argue and fight with her all the time on what is allowed and what is not. It is the hardest on her day which is Sunday and I stress bad the day before.

What worries you?: That my daughter will never straighten herself out to enable her to get her daughter back and I will have to raise her till she turns 18. Telling my daughter the guardianship is now permanent and the judge refuses to give her custody back.

What do you do to pamper yourself?: With my busy schedule there is not any time for pampering myself and if there was I don't think I would really know how.

Mothering aside, what are you really great at?: Working the comapany, juvenile corrections, and I do some crafts outside of work if the kids are asleep.

Sorry I haven't been on in a while

Sorry I haven't been on in a while a lot of family issues but most are over now. I now have permanent custody of Ariyah and all is ok in that area. Hubby ran off and sold the business took the money and left state. I will be starting another security company within the year.
