What is your name? (First name is good; nick name is fine.): Joanna- Founder Empire Kids Consignment Sale

What city do you live in?: Ontario

Describe your family: (How many kiddos? Do you have pets? What is your family "into?" Baseball, camping, music?): I'm happily married to my best friend and we have 2 beautiful, silly little monkeys age 5 and 16 months. No pets. Actually 1 fish, but doesn't really count- he's so low maintenence, almost forgot we had him!
My family is into Friday pizza and movie nights, we love BBQ's and swimming at Grandma's house, road trips, going out for breakfasts, and just spending time together. We also love lots of snuggle time!

Your most precious "mom" moment:: Just today we were having lunch and out of the blue my 5 year old son told me "Mom, can I marry you?" I said, "Oh honey, you can't marry mommy. Besides, by the time you're a big man, mommy will be old and wrinkly... you don't want to marry me!". He said "Yes I do! You're smart, funny, pretty and that's why I want to marry you".
If thats not the sweetest answer on earth, then I don't know what is!

As a mother, the thing you struggle with most:: Finding a balance between being a mother, wife, woman, friend, etc. Sometimes you become so defined in your current role, you almost forget that you were/are a whole other woman before you were a mother!

What worries you?: Sometimes I worry about losing my loved ones, dying young, our suffering economy, keeping my kids safe... I try not to think about that too much though.

What do you do to pamper yourself?: Sometimes I'll have enough time to sneak out for a mani/pedi while sipping on a Vanilla Frappuccino... a bit of heaven for 40 minutes!

Mothering aside, what are you really great at?: I'm a queen bargain hunter known for finding the "deals of the century". That being said, I'm proud to be starting the Empire Kids Consignment Sale September 19-21. Check out my site I think it would come in handy for follow up after your event or even advertising it at the next level. You definitely should set out a guest book to capture information of the people that bring items in and come over to shop to see what you have. You then can use my website to send out thank you cards and announcements of future events.
