IE Family Moms

Not sure if anyone else has discovered activitytree.com, but this is an amazing site- information on kids’ lessons, classes and camps in the Los Angeles area all in one place and FREE!  This site has totally helped me find and schedule activities for our three kids.  You can create your own “myActivityTree” account and narrow your activity search results by age of participant, gender, day and time of activity.  Members can also sign-up for select classes online, organize and share calendars with myActivityTree, get directions to activities, join carpooling and receive local Deals by email.

The Directory is the largest online parent resource for kid’s lessons, classes and camps. It is searchable by zip code and nearly 80 activity types.  Activity provider listing pages feature contact information, map to location, website link, general description of offerings and photos.

I also love the blog where activity and mommy experts help answer questions like which activities are beneficial for kids, what types of children are better suited to specific activities, and how to choose appropriate classes or instructors.  Parents can even watch videos of actual classes and camps and test their activity IQ through fun and informative polls!

Hope this helps some other moms figure out their winter activity schedules!
